Bio

Melanie Hulsey grew up in a musical family who traveled and sang together at both secular & Christian events. She participated in pop singing groups, choirs, etc. while in high school & college. This developed a great love in her for all kinds of music. But through the years she has become more of a worshiper at heart than that of a performer.

Melanie graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, but her love has always been in music. Her degree, however, has helped tremendously in ministerial counseling.

Melanie’s greatest passion is to minister through music, singing, and worship dance. She plays keyboard, guitar & percussion. She loves writing and composing music from her times spent in prayer and devotion with the Lord. Melanie sings and leads worship at conferences, retreats, and various Christian events. She has written and recorded many songs, some of which are available on CD or can be downloaded from this website.

She loves flowing musically in spontaneous and prophetic worship. She is a worshiper at heart, and her music and singing have taken on more of a Psalmist role. Melanie’s deepest desire is to touch the Father’s heart in worship and to usher others into new places in Him.

Melanie lives in Murfreesboro, TN.

“Music is God’s gift to us. It has the ability to transport us to different places. It allows us to touch the deepest parts of a person’s soul, and can heal and lift one’s spirit. Once our hearts have been touched by music, we will forever be thirsty for more.”
